BIBLE VERSES ON GOD’S DELIVERANCE

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed… For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son…

He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders In heaven and on earth… From six troubles He will deliver you, Even in seven evil will not touch you…And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the LORD

Will be delivered…Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-9; Colossians 1:13; Daniel 6:27; Job 5:19; Joel 2:32; Psalm 55:22

BIBLE VERSES ON GOD’S DELIVERANCE

You live in a depraved world full of evil and many troubles.

Problems are a permanent part of the life you now live in this broken world. If you have not experienced a time when all seemed lost, you will.

If you have, you learned it wasn’t.

Remember, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2

Note I said ‘when’ not ‘if.’

The enemy wants your hope.

Don’t give it away.

Hold on and keep on!

YOUR TURN …

Prepare for the next time.

Build your faith by spending time with Me every day in prayer and reading My word.

Believe all My promises.

And learn this and speak it with confidence: “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though

I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” Micah 7:8

NOW, COME AND PRAY ABOUT DELIVERANCE…

“Be not far from me, for trouble is near; For there is none to help… All my bones will say; LORD, who is like You, Who delivers the afflicted from him who is too strong for him, And the afflicted and the needy from him who robs him?…

LORD, there is no one like You to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, LORD, our God, for we rely on You, and in Your name, we have come against this vast army. LORD, You are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against You…

You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble, and You surround me with songs of deliverance… But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, at an acceptable time; O God, in the greatness of Your lovingkindness, Answer me with Your saving truth.

Deliver me from the mire and do not let me sink; May I be delivered from my foes and from the deep waters… In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me…

The LORD will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Psalm 22:11, 35:10; 2 Chronicles 14:11; Psalm 32:7, 69:13-14, 71:2; 2 Timothy 4:18

“Because (she) has loved Me, therefore I will deliver (her); I will set (her) securely on high, because (she) has known My name. (She) will call upon Me, and I will answer (her); I will be with (her) in trouble; I will rescue (her) and honor (her);

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand;”

Psalm 91:14-15; Isaiah 41:10

HOW TO DO THIS AS A WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

Day One: Experience Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”

Day Two: Observe & Read Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).

Day Three: Interpret Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”

Day Four: Application Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.

Day Five: Testify Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
