Affiliate Disclosures + Privacy Policy

Effective May 25, 2018:

Donor Privacy & Adherence to Donor Bill of Rights Policy

beLydia respects your privacy and your choice not to have your personal information shared with other people and is concerned about the protection of the privacy of its website visitors and donors.
This policy lays out the policy related to both groups.

Information we collect
We collect and use certain personal information from donors which include: name, amount donated or granted, address, telephone number, sponsor/donor comments and e-mail address. Tax laws in the
United States and the State of Texas require beLydia to keep contact information and contribution level of donors on file. In addition, beLydia keeps a record of each donor's giving
history.

How we use that information
We do not publish, sell, trade, rent or share names, e-mail or mail addresses, or telephone numbers of our donors, except as provided below. We will use contact information (e.g. e-mail, telephone number
and address) of donors for these purposes only:

  • Distribute acknowledgments, receipts, and statements for donations
  • Thank donors for their donation
  • Inform donors about upcoming events and fundraising activities of beLydia
  • Internal analysis and record-keeping
  • Reporting to relevant U.S. and State agencies (these reports are not for public inspection)
  • Contact donors about changes to this policy

beLydia will never share the names and addresses of its donors with other groups which may have information of interest for the recipients unless the donor has given explicit consent. Personal account financial information is never disclosed for any purpose.

beLydia assumes all donations are not to be publicly announced unless the donor explicitly indicates
otherwise.

Properly anonymous and aggregated donor information may be used for promotional and fundraising activities. Comments given on donor forms may be published in public lists and may be used in promotional materials.

Financial information

beLydia and its donation processing service do not store, nor do they have access to, your credit card information, bank account numbers, or other account data once your donation is processed
accurately. All access to donor financial information is strictly limited to professional staff that need to process that data. No such data is given to any person, organization or group who does not need to
access the data.

Website Information
beLydia only collects personal contact information (such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers) when users submit it voluntarily. To make our website more useful to you, our server
may automatically collect information when you visit our site, such as, but not limited to, your IP address, date and time of your visit, pages viewed and clickstreams.
